MiVoice Business can connect to an external FTP server or an external FTP server that supports FTP over SSH (SFTP) and use it for backing up and restoring databases and File Transfers using Scheduler. The External FTP Server form is used to configure the FTP or SFTP server connection parameters.
When you save modifications to this form, MiVoice Business does not validate the characters that you enter in the "Username", "Password", and "Path" fields. The FTP or SFTP server operating system determines the supported characters for each field. Refer to the FTP or SFTP server operating system documentation to determine the supported characters.
"Username" can include alphanumeric characters. Punctuation marks (spaces, comma, period, question mark, and so on), symbols, and \ / [ ] | < > + = * @ characters are not allowed.
Ensure that the required permissions are granted to the target directory on the FTP or SFTP server.
For Microsoft IIS, ensure that the Directory Listing Style under FTP Directory Browser is UNIX.
SDS Form Comparison, SDS Form Share, and SDS Synchronization with (from or to) earlier releases is not supported for this form.
